Not considering it’s sheer power, it’s a weapon made by modders, which is nothing less than astounding considering how fucking hard is to mod a game like ME3. Main weapon mod: Gladius (EGM), ME2 Revenant with more kick, power and slightly more accurate, it’s s a wonder on it’s own. Great suppressing fire and capable of bringing down Harvesters quite easily, the Auto Valkyrie beats the Typhoon on my books by being the most visually pleasing weapon in the game. Main weapon DLC (mod): Valkyrie, accurate rifle already powerful on its own but the great mod Automatic Valkyrie makes it my favorite weapon in the game. Obtained pretty late in the game, EGM fixes that. You can easily chain headshots with a steady hand thanks to an impressive rate of fire for such a heavy hitting weapon, the heavy recoil adjustment will be like second nature after a while. Main weapon no DLC no mod: Saber, heavy duty semiautomatic rifle, mistaken for a Sniper Rifle even by the developers. Very powerful, with a scope it’s basically a heavy hitting Sniper Rifle without the weight limitation and that sweet cranial system makes for a one shot one kill tool. Side weapon mod(DLC): Executioner with EGM mod Prothean implants clip expansion. Side weapon DLC: Acolyte, basically Warp the gun, good for stripping defenses and leaving your enemies ready for some explosive combo. ME3 side weapon no DLC no mod: Talon, reliable Shotgun/Hand cannon hybrid, good on very close range when you have medium and long range covered by your main weapon. Honorable mentions: Widow, Geth Plasma Shotgun, Arc Projector. Heavy weapon DLC: Blackstorm good for clearing a room of annoying unshielded or with weak additional defenses enemies like husks. I use it only on the last mission as an ultimate weapon. Heavy weapon no DLC: Cain, nuke launcher :). Make each shot count since the ammo capacity is ridiculously low, you WILL run out at some point. Main weapon DLC: Mattock, slightly less powerful than a Viper but with higher rate of fire, chosen marksman rifle with good stopping power and high accuracy. Main weapon no DLC: Revenant, a true machine gun, you can mow down enemies at close and medium range with ease without having to worry about about lack of ammo given the huge clip. Exceptional accuracy and plenty of ammo make it a good option for both side and main weapon. Side weapon DLC: Locust, overpowered SMG that you can get even earlier than the “super weapons” on a certain hive ship halfway in the game. ME2, side weapon no DLC: Carnifex is good as a backup option to an auto like the Avenger or the superior Revenant, also useful as a mini chosen marksman rifle given the good rate of fire, shame for the limited ammo put plenty of stopping power. Disclaimer, this list is based purely on my tastes and the Jack of all trades that is the Sentinel class.
